Product Information
The Rasor model FP861A2 is a pneumatic cutting unit for use with textiles and technical fabrics.
The air compressed motor is entirely made by Rasor and uses the latest generation mechanical and pneumatic components combined with an excellent turbine which reaches a power of 400W at 20,000 RPM, and a high torque.
The motor diameter is now only 40mm, making it the smallest within its category. The rotor blades are made of special VANESTAR® material which minimises weight and friction.
The knife in this machine is 86mm in diameter and has 8-edges allow the cutting of any kind of material at the “flexible stage” up to a cutting thickness of 35mm. The high torque and slow speed of the knife allow the cutting of rubber material with a plastic base for carpet and light flooring applications.
Especially suitable for transversal cutting, the model FP861A2 is suitable for installation in small spaces thanks to the vertical position of the motor. It is arranged with an anchor flange so is easy to fit on a fixed or automatic stirrup.
The new mini Teflon® coated base allows the easy movement of the cutting tool which can also be installed on sliding rails within a small space.
The new semi-automatic push button sharpening stone allows the knife edge to be sharpened in less than 10 seconds without removing the knife. The small maintenance and handling costs make the model FP861A2 the best solution for a powerful and reliable cutting within any O.E.M. application.
