The Global LP 2881 series consists of 1-2 post-bed walking foot machines. Your chosen machine will be supplied fully assembled, complete with British RU/C wheeled stand, manufacturer grade tabletop, drawer & extras. Before dispatch, everything is tested and signed off by one of our technicians so you can be sewing within minutes!
The Global LP 2881 series of high quality, post-bed walking foot machines have many automatic features and handy digital controls which make them as user-friendly as possible. Each has a thread trimmer and automatic back tack to save the operator time and effort, and to ensure that seams are neat, tidy, and unlikely to unravel. The walking foot means these models are ideal for working with heavy materials such as leather, and are frequently used for applications such as car upholstering and bag making. The different subclasses have other unique features which are outlined below. Global LP 2881 Series Subclass Options
- LP 2881 AUT - electronic, single needle, post-bed sewing machine with standard hook, top driven roller presser, and wheel-and needle feed. The machine is equipped with an electric thread trimmer, presser foot lift and automatic back tack. This model is driven by 3 stepping motors which are on the roller presser, the feed wheel mechanism, and the needle feed mechanism, which ensures an excellent stitch finish. Up to 95 programs can be stored and transferred from machine to machine via USB. The stitch is set electronically which makes the stitch length and reverse stitch precise and maintains the highest quality seams. Programmable differential feed (+/- 1,0 mm) for top and bottom feed.
- LP 2884 AUT - same as above, but with 2 needles.
