On all new sewing equipment that we supply, we offer a 12-month warranty as standard unless otherwise stated on the product page of the item. For example, on Industrial Sewing Machines we offer a 12 month warranty, Bag Stitchers we offer a 6 month warranty and on hand held fabric cutters we offer a 3 months warranty.

This warranty has to be in writing with a signature from AE Sewing Machines. The warranty starts from the date the invoice has been raised and we will always ask for proof of purchase in the event of a warranty claim. You must have a copy of the original warranty agreement.

Any new equipment which may become faulty can be repaired free of charge but has to be returned at the customers expense to our Head Office in Wrexham, North Wales. This is commonly known in the industry as a "back to base warranty". This is part of our general terms and conditions of sale that you agreed to when purchasing your equipment.

If the customer cannot return the equipment to our head office, then we will have to charge a call-out fee to visit your premises and repair the equipment (this covers our overheads for travel including fuel, vehicle running costs, etc. However, the repair is free of charge (excluding parts needed).

All warranty is void if a third-party engineer has tampered with or been called in to look at the machine.

Remember, AE Sewing Machines are the UK's favourite supplier of industrial textile equipment and we are here to help, should you encounter any problems then please contact us first.

Your back-to-base warranty covers repair and replacement costs for any manufacturing faults with the machine.

The warranty does not apply to:

  • Damage caused by user errors, incorrect installation, inappropriate use, negligence, etc.
  • Material damage or loss of earnings
  • Damage caused by alterations to the machine, including by the addition of accessories
  • Replacement of standard consumable parts such as needles, bobbins, feed dogs, etc.

Please note that the warranty becomes void if a third-party engineer has worked on or tampered with the machine.
